Our Mission
TongLe PTSO is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization with the mission to prepare students to become global citizens of the future by amplifying the outcome of TongLe teaching, helping students excel in the Chinese language, and deepening their appreciation of the Chinese culture.
And we achieve our mission through:
· Enriching students’ learning experience through activities outside of the classes
· Enabling parents to share resources, ideas, and inspirations for supporting young learners
· Providing a feedback channel to teachers to positively impact the teaching outcome
· Promoting opportunities for students to apply their learning to serve the community
While TongLe PTSO and TongLe Chinese School serve many of the same students and families, TongLe PTSO is an entirely independent organization.
It is run by parent volunteers, and will organize activities and allocate funds based on its mission and inputs from TongLe teachers, parents and students.
If you would like to support our cause, you can make tax-deductible donations to TongLe PTSO. If your employer offers donation matching, your monetary donation and volunteer time can be matched.
Many corporations (including Google, Microsoft, SAP, and many more) offer donation matching for funds and volunteer hours.

My son was one of the first students at the school. By learning Chinese and learning about China's geography, history and culture, our gratitude to Tongle Chinese School has grown day by day. It provides a learning platform for overseas students and builds a bridge to connect Chinese culture.

Tongle Chinese school skillfully integrates Chinese classic culture, history and geography and customs, making Chinese learning interesting, useful and in-depth for overseas children. As a parent of a six-year student, I am very grateful to Tongle for letting my child really fall in love with Chinese.

Based on Chinese culture, Tongle cultivates children's interest in Chinese culture by listening to and reading classic Chinese. I am grateful for the opportunity to revisit the classics with my children and enrich our spiritual life. We are willing to make a modest contribution to serving families studying Chinese overseas.
